Hello hello and thanks for coming back to ClevverTV. I'm your girl Dana Ward and we're dishing about how to beat the heat with makeup tips from Teen Vogue. The beauty and fashion mag tells us that 'less is more' - you know it's summer time so you really don't need all of that extra stuff on your face. For applying your moisturizer and/or foundation, use a brush instead of your fingers in order to cut down on the oils hitting your skin. And if you're gonna wear foundation, use it with a primer - that's another makeup item - in order to block the sweat from pouring out of your skin. For keeping the color on your lids longer, put a waterproof base under the powder eyeshadow. One trick that I am totally on board with Teen Vogue is to set the whole look with translucent powder. In fact, I'd say that if you only do one of these things, get a translucent powder in your skin tone and load it up. It will not only give your makeup staying power, but this powder will get rid of the sweat pronto. We hope you got some good tricks for staying cool and pretty this sunny summer.
